#BlueProject tarafından desteklenen “AquaAlert” adlı projemizin bir diğer etkinliği ile devam ediyoruz.
Yeni etkinliğimizde İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi İSTAÇ Sütlüce Deniz Hizmetlerine bağlı Haliç tesisinde Haliç’in temizlenmesinde kullanılan makine ve cihazları görüp yetkililerden bilgi aldık. 13 temizlik teknesinin görev yaptığı birimde günlük ortalama 20-30 m3 ( 2,5 – 3 ton ) atık denizden çıkarıldığını öğrendik. Çoğunlukla plastik atıkların toplandığını belirten görevliler vatandaşlarımızın denizlerimizi koruma adına daha duyarlı olması gerektiğini belirtti.
Su okur yazarlığı ve deniz kirliliği konularında farkındalık yaratma yolunda etkinliklerimize devam edeceğiz.
Deniz ve nehirlerimiz için zincir oluşturmaya devam.
“Shore”, Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklenen ve vatandaşlarımızın okyanus okur-yazarlığını geliştirmeye yönelik bir projedir.
We continue with another activity of our project “AquaAlert,” supported by #BlueProject.
In our new activity, we visited the Haliç facility of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality İSTAÇ Sütlüce Marine Services, where we examined the machinery and equipment used in cleaning the Golden Horn and received information from the authorities. We learned that an average of 20-30 m³ (2.5–3 tons) of waste is removed daily from the sea in a unit where 13 cleaning boats operate. Officials noted that most of the waste collected consists of plastic and emphasized that citizens need to be more conscious about protecting our seas.
We will continue our efforts to raise awareness about water literacy and marine pollution.
